Team AFG Joins Smart New Face of the Year Taekwondo Tournament 2009
The Smart New Face of the Year Taekwondo Tournament was held last May 31, 2009 at the Sacred Heart Gym, Mango Avenue, Cebu City. Team AFG is one of the teams that competed for the various categories and divisions. The team was off to a nice start with the first fight of the day which was won by Nico Angelo Millana from the Paref- Springdale Chapter. It paved the way for the rest of the matches with the team’s first gold medal which was won by Mark Emmanuel Navarroza from the Main Chapter. At the closing of the tournament, the AFG Taekwondo Team bagged a total of 8 gold medals, 8 silver medals and 9 bronze medals. The medalists are the following:

What a great start for our kid’s (mark emmanuel navarroza) Taekwondo venture..We’re very proud for man-man’s four-fight winning streak that resulted for his first ever Gold Medal!..from the innermost chamber of our hearts we would like to thank you all the guyz of team AFG for molding our kid to become a Champion.,Sir Jun,sir Andres,cuty ‘te Cha,sir Makoy,my brother Brett,Justine,gRand master brod Evan and to all who had in one way or another helped “man-man” to become a Champion..But most of all to my one & only “gRand master” ate Janice ‘coz she’s the one who introduces Emman into the Taekwondo world..Thank you so much everybodY and MoRE pOweR!!!

Hi Bianca! You are welcome to join our team practice. Since you are studying nursing, your schedule will be unpredictable and might not fit in the training schedule. In view of this, you can join the training at Minglanilla Central School. Their training schedule is Saturday 4pm and Sunday. You can also join the practice at San Isidro Parish School in Talamban. Their schedule is MWF 5:30 pm. The main gym’s schedule is Friday 7pm and Saturday 1:30 pm. The main gym is located at Miñoza St. Just arrange with us which practice schedule suits you best. Looking forward to do training with you.

This is Marco, I’m currently handling the practices and training at Minglanilla as of the moment. Practice schedules are Saturdays at 4:00PM and Sundays 10:00AM at Minglanilla Central School. You’re more than welcome to join. Feel free to drop by.

My 10 y/o son is into taekwondo and he is on his 2nd summer training and a yellow belter. I’d like to ask where can i buy sparring gears at reasonble prices. I am in Makati.
